DENTRUST

This piece was created based on a poem by Shel Silverstein called The Crocodile's Toothache. Essentially the poem is of a crocodile and a dentist. The two are found in a rather uncommon situation, which relies on the two characters to trust one another. That trust however, ends up getting abused. This piece was designed to go alongside Shel Silverstein's poem.

The scene consists of two characters, the dentist and a tooth. Both were sculpted out of plasticine, photographed, and then edited in photoshop. The rest of the scene was painted using gouache and shooting light through the centre.
