THE SILENT GAZE
After the Diaphanous project I had someone place a request for another lightbox. This time they wanted a lightbox to have a design that was more related to nature and the outdoors. They also wanted the ability for the design to be interpreted differently, and have the mood change. To meet these requirements I designed a scene that was fairly neutral in terms of mood. I installed two different sets of lights in order to achieve multiple colour possibilities, which in turn would add the possibility for different moods.
LIGHTBOX OFF - IN LIT ROOM
The design is still visible in a lit room, which is important since the lightbox won't always be on and the room won't always be dark.
LIGHTBOX ON - IN LIT ROOM
The design is just as affective in a lit room and displays really well.
