SMALL ENERGY CELL

This piece was originally created and part of another project. The small energy cell was designed to be a game piece for the board game, TERMINAL: Couriers of Existence. The design behind the energy cell was to represent a canister that would store and hold energy. In this case the energy is collected by players across the board through a process called fusion. The small energy cell is used for keeping track of which player has the most energy accumulated throughout the game.


The small energy cell is a three part piece that uses two different printing technologies. The outside shell and bottom cap is printed using SLA printing, while the inner core was made using FDM printing. Below are some samples of the process work behind this project.
